在夏季甲酸鈣摻量通常為水泥的0.3％～0.7％，在冬季甲酸鈣的用量應隨溫度的下降而增加，一般為0.5％～1％，不宜超過2.5％，針對干粉砂漿中使用的硅酸鹽水泥早期強度低后期強度高的特點，在產品中適量添加甲酸鈣，對提高早期強度十分有益。
